    • Customer Content you submit through the Service, including property addresses, measurement requests, and proposal details.
    • Payment information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
    • Usage information such as pages viewed, features used, IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps.
    • Communications you send to us, including support requests.

    2. How We Use Information

    We use the information we collect to:

    • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;

    3. Sub-processors

    • Stripe — payment processing and billing.
    • PostHog — product analytics and usage measurement.
    • SendGrid — transactional email delivery.
    • Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.

    We use cookies and similar technologies (including first-party analytics provided by PostHog) to understand how the Service is used and to keep you signed in. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect your ability to use parts of the Service.

    5. SMS Support Communications

    If you choose to text our published support number at +1 (510) 495-1921, you consent to receive automated and human SMS replies from BidEngine for support and account-related purposes. We do not send unsolicited marketing SMS. Message frequency varies based on your support conversation. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You may opt out of further SMS at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for assistance. Phone numbers used for SMS support are stored only as needed to maintain conversation continuity and are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

    6. How We Share Information

    We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

    • With sub-processors listed above, as needed to operate the Service;
    • With your authorized representatives or partners when you direct us to do so (for example, sending a measurement report to a customer);
    • When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BidEngine, our users, or others;
    • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required.

    7. Data Retention

    We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

    8. Your Rights

    Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.     9. Security
